Should check whole roof sheet roll forming machine situation after installation has finished
1. Check all roll forming machine line equipment are on the list as packing list, such as steel de-coiler, product rack and PLC control box, installing tool box.
2. Check the hydraulic pipes and valves are still connected well, electric wires (includes PLC, touch screen, relays) are all correct, can the system be getting through power supply?
3. Setting the product task on touch screen, such as cutting length, cutting pieces, batches, and try the roof sheet roll forming machine at MANUAL mode at first.
Roll Forming Machine Adjusting Key Points
1. Material Feeder and Find Machine Centre Line
Inspect the metal coil width suits for machine feeder or not? More or less? During roll forming machine runs and roll forming, try to find out the machine centre line to adjust roof sheet material at the correct position, then check roof sheet side and solve the waves' problem if it needs.
2. Forming rollers adjustment
Normally, there are 16–20 stations roll forming, we should ensure all forming rollers contact evenly for avoiding any deformation.
Problem may happen: There are waves at two sides or deformation
Solution: Adjust the up and down forming rollers’ span, we can adjust the center line roller and then spread to roll forming machine two sides.
Hydraulic Cutting Burrs Solution
The roof sheet roll forming machine’s cutting blades material normally is Cr12MoV or Cr12, we should make sure the cutting blades is sharp. The span between upper and down blades should be suitable, we suggest to keep the span≤0.05mm.
Problem may happen: some burrs displayed on roof sheet edges or roof sheet broken.
Solution:
1. Dismantle the cutting blades to sharpen it, if needed, modify the cutting blades a little according to actual roof sheet shape.
2. Polish the cutting edge regularly with an oilstone.
3. Adjusting the hydraulic system pressure as machine needs, avoid excessive pressure that causes blade overload or too low pressure that causes incomplete shearing.
4. By ensuring that the encoder synchronizes the roof sheet's conveying speed with the cutting blades' cutting action, it ensures that the roof sheet does not move at the moment of cutting.
